Founder & Chief Deadline Negotiator
Muntahi Safwan
Big ideas, shipped before the deadline blinks.
01The Long Story
WHO MUNTAHI REALLY IS.
01
OF 06
Muntahi is a generalist by design — equally comfortable pitching a client, sketching a flow, or reviewing a pull request at midnight. He started Octarnal with a stubborn belief that great design and sharp engineering should never live in separate rooms, and he has spent every day since trying to prove it. Before the studio had a name, it was him and a laptop, taking on projects most people said were too ambitious for a small team. He learned early that a founder's real job is not to have all the answers, but to keep the room moving toward them. On any given day he might be writing a proposal in the morning, unblocking a developer at noon, and redrawing a landing page at night.

QUICK — DON’T THINK.
Ship or polish?
Ship, then polish in public.
Meeting or message?
Message. Always the message.
Coffee or roadmap?
Coffee, then roadmap, then more coffee.
Hire for?
Hunger over pedigree, every time.
A deadline is?
A conversation, not a wall.
Off The Clock
MUNTAHI, UNPLUGGED
“Ship it, then make it better — but ship it.”
- Has never met a deadline he couldn't renegotiate.
- Runs on coffee, roadmaps and stubborn optimism.

In Their Words
WHAT THE CREW
SAYS ABOUT MUNTAHI.
Muntahi will renegotiate a deadline with a straight face and somehow make the client thank him for it.
Least technical person in an engineering room, and he still asks the one question that changes the build.
He said 'ship it' once and I learned more in that hour than in a month of polishing.
